I bought these after my Nike's bottom started flapping (seems like a common problem with basketball and running shoes) These seem solid and should withstand scrapes. Comfort wise they are pretty well dispite not having much of an arch inside. I wish I would have ordered a 1/2 size larger as they do seem on the short side, but shoes are funny like that. Overall very happy with these ! When they arrived my 25 yr old son gave his approval !
