I bought these to work in the vegetable garden, but think they are too cute to get that dirty! Great for wearing around the yard, to the grocery store, etc. After I wash them (haven't yet), I will delegate them to their original purpose, just not yet! I wear them without socks and they are very comfortable. I can wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe, I got the 8.5 and they are plenty big....wouldn't want an 8 or a 9. Fun and great shoes.
