Connected Apparel Women's Belted 2-fer Dress

Great dress but I am a size 8 and had to get a 12. Just order 1 or 2 sizes up and you will be very happy.It's a beautiful dress.

I bought this for a holiday party... the cut is fine but there is a reason why this dress is so affordable, CHEAP construction and materials. I loved the cut and fit (it is comfortable) but it looks extremely cheap. The rhinestones on the front look cheap plastic costume jewelry you'd give to a small child, the skirt fabric looks cheap and the construction was poor. The interior shirt is funny and the back zipper is too loose on one end (you can see the white backing around the black skirt) and too tight on the other where it is hard to zip. It is definitely being returned

Ordered this dress for a holiday cocktail party (way in advance!). Had already purchased a couple other dresses- not from Overstock -but they were not as cute in person as online. Have seen so many dresses online & they all look alike; this one stood out for its classy, yet sexy style. Got it within a week- tried it on & it's so pretty! I ordered pretty much what size I would normally (I'm usually a 4, but the sizing made me think a 6 was more accurate; I didn't go up a size despite the advice on Overstock) & it fits fine. I'm tall but small framed. The fact that it's light colored (ivory- not white like in the pic) on top & black on bottom does wonders for the figure. The skirt portion comes up high, almost to the bustline- what a waist whittler! I had no issue with the padding inside, but again, am smaller in that area too. I can't wait for my guy to see me in it at the party! Perfect for the holidays or any special occassion!
