They wash and recover (when instruction for care are followed) 100%. Here's a bit of an oddity: I wear them outside to have a smoke, and this open-toed (no socks) kept my feet warm while sitting in my open airy porch when it was -4 degrees. This is even more than I had hoped for in a slipper, (especially in this price range), as I suffer from severe foot & ankle swelling, because they are fully adjustable. At 58 yrs old, I'm really pleased and impressed by the product and the company of overstock.com!

My husband has diabetes, very wide feet and a toe amputation so it isn't easy to find slippers that are comfortable. These worked great and we will order them again..

I got these slippers as a Christmas present for my dad. He loves them! He wears them everyday and extols how comfortable they are and how warm his feet are. As some other reviews have stated, your feet do not feel cold, even though they are open-toe. I don't know what else to say other than that these slippers are worth your money. Do not hesitate to buy them.

I thought the size description of M 9 -10.5 would be correct, but when they arrived, they were marked on the bottom of the slippers as size 9.5 -11. These were much too large. I had to go to the trouble of returning them, and paying for the return shipping. I was disappointed with this purchase experience with Overstock.com.

having a wide foot makes it very hard to find a slipper that fits. these slippers adjust to any width. they are comfortable and stay put on the foot.

Got these for my diabetic husband who wears compression stockings and gets pretty swollen feet. His old slippers caused his feet to sweat (and smell) and his skin to break down. These slippers are great! The terrycloth fabric breathes, the toe is open just enough to allow air to circulate but they are still warm, the velcro allows adjustment when swelling occurs, and they are super-washable. We will never use any other kind of slipper!

I bought these slippers for my Dad for Christmas and he is very happy with them. I was afraid that they might be too big because when I ordered them it said that a large would be a 10-12 but then when they arrived the tag said 11-13 but they ended up being just fine. They seemed to be a good quality slipper and the price is right.

The slippers were too big, fitting a size 8 to 8 1/2, not a 7, and the terry cloth was not very soft or cozy. My fiance had them on for only a couple of minutes before he asked where I got them so we could return them.

What can you say about slippers. They are just slippers. The sizing is incorrect. I ordered medium which states 9-10.5. They are actually 9.5 to 11! My dad is going through chemotherapy and his legs and feet swell, so I thought the velcro strap would be useful to him, however, I am not sure that the size will work! I don't know how they can state 9.5 because these shoes are LARGE! More like an 11 and if you want to flop around and you are a 9.5 it will work for you. They seem to be made okay and they are soft and padded. I will just have to see how they fit my dad..

Very nice and comfortable slippers. Very cushiony on the feet with a nice selection of colors.

Great slippers for elderly man who needs slippers to be easily adjustable, easy on and off since he can't bend down, and they provide warmth. Even though the front part is adjustable, they cover the foot completely except for a tiny area at the toe, when closed. Very soft, no rough spots, very important for easily bruised feet and thin skin of elderly people. I'm sure they'd be great for any age. They look nice and the sole is non-slip which is VERY important. I was so happy to find them after searching in stores and online for a long time. Most adjustable slippers have no back, which was very dangerous as his feet kept slipping out of them and we were so afraid he'd fall.

When I perused Overstock.com, and found the Comfort Fit Men's Adjustable Open Toe Fullfoot Slippers, I quickly ordered them. They arrived today, and both my husband and I are thrilled! He had a pair of slippers that he loved, and they, too, had the adjustable open toe feature. Both of us have been searching for a long time for a pair similar to the ones he loved. Logged onto Overstock.com, as I do often .... and ..... VOILA! They fit him perfectly, and I am not going to play the "search" game again. Am going to order another pair as soon as I complete this review. He commented to me that the slippers were nicely cushioned on the inside and the non-slip sole is perfect because most of our downstairs is tiled.
