This coat for me was LOVE at FIRST sight. I love the low belt and the high collar. First i wanted to get the red one, but then read some reviews stating that it was not a true red - so then i thought i'd get the cream- the cream looks really classy, but i'd rather not have the worry of all the little dirt that would show up like big dirt, so i went with Black, i ordered it on the 16th and it already arrived today (the 18th) none of the buttons are loose, but i'm going to go ahead and sew them all on better (reinforced) any ways. I think the quality is better or as good as other expensive names. I spent one day trying on wool jackets and coats in the department stores (and they were all twice as expensive. But since i couldn't find any that had this chic style, i went ahead and bought this one and i'm not at all regretting my choice. the lining is superb, the wool is thick yet soft. I think it feels like it will be plenty of warmth for the winter months ahead. oh yeah.. and as for size.. I'm 5'6" and wear a 7/8 comfortably.. (with an average bust and broad shoulders) so i went and played it safe, bought the large and i think i would of been fine in a Medium, i have a little extra space, but it still looks hot on me, however, the medium would of probably looked a little more curvy/sexy. but over all i'm extremely happy!! While I do recognize the value you get for this coat, note that the cut does not flatter all people, especially women with relatively wide hips and butt compared to the rest of their body. In two words, pear-shaped. It is not flattering. I had to return the coat and there was a eight dollar restocking fee! And I had to pay for the return shipping. I thought with so many good reviews and feedback, this coat was a sure thing but it turned out to anything but. So pear shaped women beware! I am not a big woman. I wear a small and size 4 pants but some cuts just don't flatter.

I absolutely love this coat! I bought the cream in XL. I was worried the belt might not be big enough because it fits around the hips and it was plenty big, even a little too big. I have received so many compliments on it already. I am from Northern Wisconsin so it isn't warm enough to wear all winter, but it is good for fall and early winter. My only complaint is a button on the pocket fell off after only having for about 2 weeks.

I've been wanting this coat for 2 years, but every time I decided to purchase it they didn't have my size. I finally purchased the coat early enough and got the size I needed. I normally wear a size large but I ordered an XL and it fits great even with a sweater underneath it. It does seem to run a size smaller. I have had soo many compliments on it that I also ordered another one in a different color. What I love about this coat is that you can dress it up or dress it down with a pair of jeans and it looks great! I like that the belt is lower, I feel that it makes me look thinner.

As soon as i saw this jacket, i knew i had to have it. I ordered a large right away. When i recieved it, it was way too big so i exchanged it for a medium and the medium fits beautifully. I love the fact that the belt falls on the hip of the coat. Its very chic and fashionable. These jackets sell out super fast so i suggest you get 'em while you can!

The coat fits amazing and was a great deal. I got a medium and it fits great, I usually wear a 6 or 8 in blazers if that helps

I fell in love with this jacket the moment I saw it. Took me a year to find this style, and it was here at Overstock! I read the reviews on this jacket & decided to order one size up, like most of the reviews recommended. I should have paid attention to my hesitation and ordered my actual size, because I do feel that it's a little too big & loose.

I am normally a small but I read the reviews and it stated that this fit a bit small. The medium is a little big, but still for the most part fits well. Really love the style and the look of the jacket. This was my first purchase off of overstock.com and it was a great one.

I bought this jacket with Jessica Simpson boots. They came yesterday and i tried them on. The Jacket fit well on me but the material feels rough and itchy, probably i need to wear it with a sweater underneath. Since the jacket fit well and looks good i don't feel necessary to return it but the boots is way to big on the calf part and really different from the photo on the web. I will try to return the boots.

I am 5'6 120 lbs, I decided on the MED (charcoal) because i plan on wearing heavy sweaters under the jacket. I tried on the jacket with my largest warmest sweater and it fit perfectly. A bit large if i dont wear heavy clothes under. Overall quality and appearance are good, except for one of the buttons falling off while wearing it for the first time. Not a huge issue, the jacket does come with replacement buttons. I really like my jacket and have yet to come across another one in stores that is similar. Happy with the purchase.

I'm usually a Small or Medium (I'm 140 and 5'7), with this coat a small fits but the arms are too tight when i wear a thin sweater, a medium is a little too big (would fit perfect if I had a larger chest...) I'll keep the medium cos I'm more likely to gain a few pounds than get even skinner arms...Other than that I like the coat and I like that the belt is lower. it's perfect for everyday use as nice enough to wear going out..

BUY A SIZE UP FROM WHAT YOU WOULD NORMALLY WEAR! VERY IMPORTANT! I did not read some of these reviews before purchasing this coat. I LOVE this coat, but dislike the tightness across the shoulders. Comfort is my top priority, and the inability to raise my arms above my shoulders without hunching is annoying. This causes me to leave it home sometimes, just cause I can't wear it with more than one layer. The buttons, securing the front, MUST be reinforced when you get them. I always get compliments though on this coat, and I'm not a skinny minny across the middle, but it gives me a waist. I got a medium Charcoal. I'm 5'3", 135lbs. SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A LARGE, and I would have been perfectly happy.

It was a really cute looking coat, thats why I bought it. But 2 days later 4 buttons fell off the coat, I thought Id just sew them back on. Then one week later the pockets started to rip apart just because I like to put my hands in my pockets. Now I'm trying to return it.

I have to say that overall I am dissapointed in the quality of this product. Within the first month the stitching was coming out in spots and I had already lost a button. It seemed like a great deal and a great coat at first, but after actually wearing it - it was a waste of money. And since it was past the return policy date (even though it is literally falling apart) I can't return it. I would not recommend purchasing this to anyone.

the trench fits true to size. I am XS but I can still fit a lightweight hoodie or cashmere sweater under it. As for color, it is more a dull red but I don't mind as I am planning to buy another "red" trench in a different style. The buttons need to be reinforced. It also has a back slit which makes your back view look "weird". Overall, it is satisfactory vs. its price.

I ordered my jacket THEN read the reviews on it. This made me nervous that I ordered the wrong size. Most of the feedback said it ran small. I ordered a large. When I received the jacket, it fit great! Also mentioned was that it came very wrinkled. They must have fixed their shipping method because mine came looking like it was just pressed. I love my coat! The jacket is cute, but it has a lot going on. There's a hip belt, wrap detailing on both cuffs, and a lot of buttons at the neckline. All the extra details, buttons, etc. interfere with the comfort of the jacket.

This jacket is very comfy - yet still perty hip - a rarity these days. I was disappointed when I opened the package and found a Raspberry colored coat. This coat IS NOT RED! Berry, merlot, burgundy are all shades of red- none of which I equate with Scarlet. After reading other reviews & to be safe, I ordered an X-Large...MISTAKE. DO NOT ORDER UP IN SIZE. STICK TO THE SIZE YOU KNOW YOU ARE.
