I read the reviews before I ordered this coat. One of the reviews mentioned a strong smell that came from the material of the coat. I thought "How bad could the smell be" and I thought I would just hang the coat outside for a few hours and it would be fine. Well, I've had the coat for almost a month and the smell is still hanging on. It's a shame because the coat is well made and stylish but the smell is still so strong.

It fits great and it's a very cute style. My only complaints are that it seems to be getting a little pilly and the pockets aren't great for putting your cold hands into- they're low-set and odd-shaped. Otherwise a great coat!

I had been looking for a stylish peacoat and was excited when I found this coat for around 30 dollars this past summer. It has turned out to be a great coat for business and going out at night and I get tons of compliments whenever I wear it. I haven't had any problems with the buckle but then again, I'm gentle whenever I fasten it. Very warm and love the collar. It can be buttoned up around the neck for those windy days. Worth every penny!!

This coat is very cute and stylish. It's thick and heavy, so perfect for chilly days. Didn't have the problem that other people had with the buckle breaking, but I dont usually buckle it. My only complaint was it came out of the package still smelling like the factory and is dry clean only. Overall very cute and well worth the money! I get tons of compliments whenever I wear it!

The coat was not what I expected based on the picture. The white in the coat was very dull and looked as if the black coloring faded into the white. Upon receiving the package I opened it and it had a strong crayon or wax type smell to it. While everything else I have ordered from overstock.com has been satisfactory and very accurate to the picture this was just that one that did not satisfy me.
