I was in the market for good wool coat after experiencing my second Seattle winter. I was having a lot of trouble finding military-inspired wool coats, ans even went to the trouble of ordering one direct from Hong Kong (which didn't work out, so I kept looking). This coat is excellent. The materials and workmanship are as good as anything I've looked at in a store, and at around $120 that's a good deal. The design is sharp and practical. The cut is great, with a tapered waist and lap length for a very sharp, uniform-style look. Some details I was pleased to find: Leather cuff lining up to about five inches from the wrist. The cuffs unbutton and can be turned back, exposing leather rather than cotton for durability. Collar has the same leather lining underneath for the same durability when wearing the collar up on windy days. Right lower pocked has smaller sub-pocket great for holding a cell phone/keys/etc. Two inner pockets in the breast on either side for ambidextrous storage of sunglasses/cigarettes/passport/what-have-you. Inner lining features a map of WW2 occupied Europe and a patch on one side of war-time bomber pinup nose art. It's hard for me to find complaints with this coat. All I could point out is that it is a bit snug in the shoulder so freedom of movement isn't 100%, but that's no different than a blazer/sport jacket and is due to the sharp looking cut. I think I'll be wearing this coat for a long time. A great buy if you like clean military-inspired design.
