This type of "wallet" is a fun idea. For practicality, it depends on how many cards you have, and whether you can squeeze your life into this minimalist design. It's a good chance to throw away all of your "loyalty" shopping cards to all your favorite retailers. If you're worried about privacy and Big Brother snooping your data while you walk through airport security, this aluminum style is for you. It also keeps each card separate so they last longer and work better. The magnetic stripes aren't rubbing against other cards like they might in a traditional billfold. I found myself trying to jam some cash into this, which is awkward at best. The design is pretty good, but the clasp is plastic and broke the first time I dropped this wallet on a tile floor. My cards went flying. I kept it for a while longer, without the locking feature, but then I ended up throwing this item away. I'm back to a regular tri-fold leather wallet, for now.

These Aluma wallets are very easy to use. They open wide and keep fumbling to a minimum. Only down side was the my grandsons who I wanted to use them, complained they wouldn't be comfortable shoved in their pockets.

Takes a lickin', keeps on clickin'. I love the stand-up action of the cards. I've never had a wallet that made it so simple to find the card I'm looking for. Not good for cash, but I have a separate coinpurse for it, along with any extra membership cards. This one is for the go-to cards I can't afford to lose. Love how light and easy it is to grab and go.

I bought this for my husband who was complaining that his leather wallet was damaging his credit cards. At first he thought it was too thick but after using it for a couple of weeks he says it does the trick of protecting his cards. His only complaint is it isn't as roomy as he'd like. It's not conducive to carrying cash but if you are more of a plastic user this is a perfect wallet for you.

I moved all of my cards and money from my leather wallet to aluminum wallet and they all fit in there very well. Wish it could be a little bigger for dollar bills to be folded in half.

It's a perfect little case to protect your credit cards. However, it's a bit too think to be carried in a back pocket so it's really meant to go inside a handbag. There's room only for credit cards, i.e., it cannot take the place of a wallet.

If you just need your cards and ID and maybe a small amount of cash this is a great Item. My wife likes to use hers to take to Grocery or Walmart. She can put in a pocket or just hold in her hand and does not have to keep up with or protect a purse or large wallet. I like mine for taking to fill up vehicles with gas or to some store I will not need my wallet. I find it also works well when we visit a Casino. I feel more confident know one will be stealing our info.

OK I thought I try something differant and I thought I'd give Overstock a chance. The credit card wallet lasted almost a week. Unfortuneatly, when I closed it as one of the cards was sticking up, the clasp broke off. I did not put too much pressure on it. It is clear to me now that this product was not meant for long term use (but one week is a little rediculous). With that in mind, I don't recommend this product and I probably will not buy from overstock.com since quality doesn't appear to be important to them.

This case replaces my wallet quite well. Its hard, small, and has more space for the cards and loose cash that I need on a day to day basis. I can carry it in my pants or suit pocket with my android phone, or put it in my carry-on when I'm going through the TSA screening line at the airport. The black color is very stylish, matches everything, but I suppose something like silver or red works just as well. Definitely recommend for the convenience, but also for the security.
