My 13 year old is hard on shoes and super picky about what he wears. These shoes fit the bill for him in comfort and style and the price was in line with my budget. Brooks makes a high performing, durable, quality shoe. In the past my son has worn Puma, Nike, Reebok, Adidas...you name it, he's tried it. This Ghost shoe has held up better than any of the other shoes he's worn to date. With a young man growing so fast, in my book there's no excuse for a shoe that wears out before his foot grows out of it. He's been wearing these Brooks for months and they still look sharp and relatively unscathed. Although he wears them almost all the time now, they were originally purchased for cross country. He reports that they are very comfortable for running.

I love this shoe. I'm relatively new to running, but over the past couple of years I haven't found a better all around training/race shoe that's light and really feels fast. Might just be my preference, but the sprung toe platform is so choice. I am a midfoot striking under pronator with higher arches, and I like a snug fit (particularly the forefoot). The Ghost 2 update opens up the forefoot, so I bought up a few pair of these. Thanks Overstock!

The Brooks sneakers were for my son. Nice looking, durable. He wears size 15 and still growing. These were a blessing to find. I will be back to Overstock.com to find his next pair.

I have been running with Pearl Izumi's for quite some time now and wanted to try something different. So I tried the Ghost and this is what I think. The shoe is extremely lightweight with above average cushioning on the heel and average on the ball of the foot.. The heel to toe movement is not as fluid as I would have like but the shoe is still a good shoe. Great value however, I will not use this shoe for any run longer than 6 miles. Great short distance running shoe!

My husband bought his first pair of Ghosts at a local sporting store after getting fitted and trying on over ten other styles. He liked the Ghosts best for his marathon training. After a few months he had put so many miles on his old pair of shoes they were starting to break down. I was glad to find the Ghosts on Overstock for far less than the sporting goods store. See if they're in your local sporting goods store, find your size and see if you like the fit, then save money by ordering them from Overstock!

Not sure where the Brooks name brand fits in the hierarchy of running shoe brands, but these are great...lightweight, well-constructed, and form fitting. I would recommend to anyone, especially at the O price.

Shoes are fine. Ran a size small though. Did order two pair and the size larger fit me. I am a Overstock card holder. I don't think I've gotten my discount on the past two orders I placed. Can you verify?

I typically run in racing flats, but I wanted a good light weight trainer for half-marathon training. I've used the Brooks Ghost for a couple weeks and I'm very happy with them. They offer more cushioning than my Mizuno racing flats, especially in the fore foot area. They feel quite fast and are light enough that I feel comfortable taking them to the track for speed work also. I found they fit true to size, but the toe box was a little snug at first.

I bought these shoes for my husband to wear at the gym, and he loves them. He said they were so comfortable that he almost forgot he was exercising. They give him the support and cushining that he needs. He's had knee and hip replacement surgeries so the right shoe is very important. Great buy.
