Alathough this shoe may look a little clunky, It functions quite well. It moves where it should and supports where it should. This is the most stable show I have worn that can still be sued for for running. I am an overpronater and this shoe has helped me a great deal to continue walking and nunning aas I want to. Fantastic price for a quality running shoe intended for people who need strong motion control. These running shoes still sell for around $125 in running stores and on-line. I suggest sizing up a half size.

I purchased these sneakers for my husband, (who owns four other different pair) and he wears them with the comparision to the best pair of slippers, sneakers and barefooting. I wish I'd gotten gray instead of blue, but he loves the colors. He is a carpenter and wears heavy work boots though great boots, his feet hurt. After a shower and these sneakers he is relaxed, no pain and re-energized. They are the best footwear I have ever choosen for him and I have purchased many pairs of popular shoes.

I looked for a good deal and this was by far the best deal.

I have been wearing Brooks shoes for the past 15 years and this has to be the best model of the Breast to date. I bought a pair in April 2009 and I love them. All the control an overpronator needs but the forefoot is flexible. (for a motion control shoe) There was no break in period just a smooth ride from the start.

The shoes are great. I'm wearing out my first pair. I had to give the new pair to a friend though because they were way too small. The shoe said nine and a half, I wear nines and they fit my friend that wears eight and a half. I recommend ordering a full size larger than you wear.

If you're flatfooted/SEVERE overpronator and you run, you should already know what this shoe is. It typically runs $150+ retail, but it's a good quality shoe. It it build for a lot of shock and it has a lot of active suspension going on - shock pads in the insole, an internal guidance system and a gel pad. It's a bit heavier than other running shoes, but you really buy this to absorb the shock. It also guides your foot - I have never needed an insole in this shoe because the padding and support help keep the foot stable strike after strike. It's just stunning to find it at this price.

I shopped for sneakers for my son at a local retail store. They did not have the size he needed so I came home and looked online to find a pair in the correct size. This are the shoe for me. I found the proper shoe through the Brooks web site then was able to purchase the exact shoes at Overstock at a great price. I intend to use the shoes to walk in an upcoming marathon.

I need maximum stability in a shoe and the Brook's Beast delivers. I've been buying Brook's for years and always have at least two pair on hand, one for working around the yard, and one for everyday wear.This is a strong comfortable shoe that I would recommend for anyone needing maximum support and stability.Overstock's price has always been the lowest on these shoes, which is about $50 less than retail.

I was leary of ordering shoes without trying them on, but this has turned out to be a most positive experience. The shoes fit like they had a mold of my feet. I'm experiencing comfort and support where other shoes have fallen short. If you have somewhat narrow feet and tend to pronate, these are the shoes for you.

For those who have bad feet and need special shoes - these are great! Local stores had these for $139. U.S. It's nice to get what you need without killing the wallet.

Excellent cushioning. Of the Brooks running shoes, this particular style is the best, and a v good price. This is my 5th pair of Brooks so I'm able to compare.

This is my third pair of the Brooks Beast. I was first introduced to them by an orthopedic shoe store when I was looking for a solution to my plantar fasciitis. I usually spend a lot more for them so I was happy to find them on the cheap at Overstock.

These shoes are great they are very very comfortable.I was hesitant at 1st about buying online but they are very true to size.I am very happy with this purchase.

My husband is a runner and for his birthday, he wanted an expensive pair of running shoes but we did not have a lot of extra funds. I bought two pairs for myself and one for my son. I feel stable and more balanced wearing these shoes. My feet feel less fatigue after wearing them. Half price off retail was a deal. I am keeping my second pair in reserve for later use.

These are good shoes, just older. Came slightly scuffed. I already knew I wanted them.
