I have flat feet and I feel it is pretty good for person with wide flat feet. I'm a army rotc cadet so i need the best i can find and this so far is close to the best. The best I had was newbalance something...i forgot what it was called.
I am only now getting into running. I recently learned I have planter fascitus (sp?) which has kept me away from running however these shoes came highly recommended. I have run on them four times since I received them (7 miles total) and to date have experienced no issues while running. They provide the support I need and the comfort to help me build up my mileage. From a novice's standpoint, these are very good running shoes and have helped me mentally get out of the pool and on the road.
