good support for my wide feet. A little tight, but they will stretch. I plan to max these out on a few months anyway
These will match any brand of runners out there. Great support, yet light.
I have flat feet and I feel it is pretty good for person with wide flat feet. I'm a army rotc cadet so i need the best i can find and this so far is close to the best. The best I had was newbalance something...i forgot what it was called.
As usual, excellent quality. Great running shoes for a runner of 35 years.
I am only now getting into running. I recently learned I have planter fascitus (sp?) which has kept me away from running however these shoes came highly recommended. I have run on them four times since I received them (7 miles total) and to date have experienced no issues while running. They provide the support I need and the comfort to help me build up my mileage. From a novice's standpoint, these are very good running shoes and have helped me mentally get out of the pool and on the road.
Had a pair of the previous model of this shoe. The new model fits exactly like the one I have. Great price and a very quick delivery.
Great shoes at a great price. As always Brooks makes a great product, and at this clearance price. Shoes extremely durable and feel great on the feet.
Excellent trail running shoe. Can't go wrong with Brooks shoes. They fit like a glove.
I have been using the Brooks Adrenaline GTS model for any road and smooth trail running and the Brooks Cascadia for mountain runs in very technical/often rocky terrain. I have also used Salomon shoes for the latter. I have found that the Adrenaline GTS gives great support and comfort on smooth, even surfaces, but they do not do well with anything more than the occasional root. The Salomons are on the other end of the spectrum--they're rather uncomfortable with little padding and no support to speak of, but they make up for it with the plastic plate in the sole every time you step on a sharp rock. I moved from the Salomons to the Cascadias for the tougher trails because I wanted something that wasn't so tough on my feet and would last more than two months before disintegrating. The Cascadias were solid, but they offer no support at all for my collapsing arch and resulting pronation. I am now living in an area where I don't have access to the big mountain trails, but the trails I do have are very rocky, with a lot of sharper rocks. The Adrenaline ASR 5 does what it says: it feels like a beefier GTS, it is relatively waterproof but not without adequate ventilation, and it gives me support when my arches collapse. They are nearly as comfortable as the GTS, so you can't expect as much protection from sharp rocks as you get from a Salomon shoe, but they protect my feet admirably. The only negative I have to report so far is that they're pretty slick on wet rocks, but what shoe isn't? I should also mention that I have scrubbed the sides of the shoes on a couple rocks, and so far they're holding up perfectly and the super shiny finish is unmarred. By the way, if you like shiny objects, you'll like these shoes--they're quite silver. I think they look great.
