The black is really a navy blue but I love these shoes and wear them all the time. I added an arch support to take up the extra room.

When I saw these shoes online I thought they were a great style of Oxford. They seem to have a more classic shape and you can tell the designer paid attention to detail. I debated buying them for some time and finally gave in to the cashew color. When I opened the box, my first reaction was "Are you kidding?! Someone before me must have worn these shoes and returned them!" But then I noticed the soles were perfect. Across the entire shoe there were gray smudges and on one toe it looked like a drop of white paint had been smudged across it. I then noticed the tag tied to the laces stating some nonsense about each shoe being unique because they are treated with a vintage finish. I was expecting perfectly clean, brand new shoes and I got dirty shoes. That is why I was disappointed. My husband thinks they are cute regardless and my friends have already complimented me on them so I'm glad I am keeping them but I would have appreciated a mention of the worn appearance. They fit pretty well, but I notice a little bit of discomfort above my heel where the shoe cuts into your foot. I wouldn't wear these shoes without socks if I planned on walking a lot in them.

I wear a size 8 shoe consistently and these 8s were soooo small. Beware especially if you do not have super narrow feet.

I love my shoes, I wear them all the time and they are comfortable with and without socks. Other reviews said the sizing runs big but that wasn't the case for me, I had to return a pair for a smaller size. The black is actually a really dark blue, but still looks great.

Excellent style and fit! Love it...however, the black isn't pitch black. It's sort of a silvergraybluegreen sort of black. Still like them, but was expecting black. This color sort of makes them unique, and they do stand out a bit if you're wearing black pants. Still nice!

I recommend these shoes you just can't go wrong very vintage love it

it was a nice shoe i was looking for vintage style of shoe anyways The price wasn't so bad so i bought it knwing that there were spots it is comfy but your feet has to get use to it but over all it is a good n nice shoes

I ordered these in black and teak. When I got the black out the first thing I noticed was that they looked blue. I doubled check the box to make sure i got black. I thought that "ok black and navy can look alike". But when I pulled out the teak, it had literally white stains all over. In the decorative holes were white and then also what looked like white water line stains. Like you had walked in water and then it dried with the water lines and stains. Like a salt water stain. I did not read the reviews when I orded, but I see now that the off color is mentioned. These were not off colors. When I looked at the black in a different light, they ARE blue. The teak just looked weird. I know there is a vintage look to them and these could work for some people. If you are looking for a black and a brown oxford to wear with black and brown slacks, these will not work. I really wished they had. I think they would have make a great casual shoe if the colors had been more true.

These shoes have a really great look to them. The only thing(s) are that I didn't really like the distressed look and sizing was a tiny bit off. I ordered cashew and one shoe had a big black mark on the toe, but I was able to clean it off with eyeglasses cleanser. The shoes seem a little bigger than stated, but I bought an insole and everything is fine.
