I loved this checkbook cover. The quality is great - the leather is stitched evenly and the quality of the leather 'feels' right. The two things i didn't like is that it is a little thicker than i expected (iI guess because t has an extra slat/pocket inside - to hold those pesky receipts when you're in a hurry). No big deal. I was actually looking for something less 'elaborate' but this is definitely more than i expected. The other thing i didn't like is that I have a tough time fitting my checks into the slat pocket. It appears that if the slat was just 1/16th" wider, i wouldn't have to cram and stuff and bend the back of the checks in the pocket that holds that cardboard stiffener thingie on the back of the book of checks. So i did what you can always do with good quality leather - i stretched it out a tad and now it works okay. I suppose the tightness of that pocket is good because cheaper checkbook covers ALWAYS seem to not be able to hold the checks and they slip out all the time.
I would say: Way to go - good buy.
I love my new checkbook cover. Sometimes you cannot tell the quality by just a picture on the computer.
