Boston Traveler Black Leather Checkbook Cover

I loved this checkbook cover. The quality is great - the leather is stitched evenly and the quality of the leather 'feels' right. The two things i didn't like is that it is a little thicker than i expected (iI guess because t has an extra slat/pocket inside - to hold those pesky receipts when you're in a hurry). No big deal. I was actually looking for something less 'elaborate' but this is definitely more than i expected. The other thing i didn't like is that I have a tough time fitting my checks into the slat pocket. It appears that if the slat was just 1/16th" wider, i wouldn't have to cram and stuff and bend the back of the checks in the pocket that holds that cardboard stiffener thingie on the back of the book of checks. So i did what you can always do with good quality leather - i stretched it out a tad and now it works okay. I suppose the tightness of that pocket is good because cheaper checkbook covers ALWAYS seem to not be able to hold the checks and they slip out all the time. I would say: Way to go - good buy.

WHEN I GO OUT TO ANY STORE OR EVEN TO GET GAS, ALL I NEED TO TAKE WITH ME IS THE CHECK BOOK WALLET. IT HAS EVERYTHING I NEED IN IT TO SHOP ANYWHERE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ONLY SLIGHT DOWN FALL IS IT SHOULD BE MADE IN A FEW MORE COLORS LIKE BROWN, RED, NAVY AND TAN TO MATCH OTHER COLORED HANDBAGS AND PURSES.
