These sunglasses remind me allot of my by Oakley's at the cost of almost the tax that I paid for my Oakley's. I couldn't believe these are polarized, they fit nice and tight and would be really good lake/pool sunglasses, or at any event that you would fear your sunglasses might come off. They were a little smaller than I was expecting but actually the perfect size. I just got them so can't say to much but for the price, good luck finding another pair. I also like the color, pearl white, I notice reviews about them flaking but come on even if they last 6 months they were worth the money. I will try and update my post but really, you get allot of bang for your buck here. The suggested retail sticker says *** wow still a great deal.
I never seem to have good luck with sunglasses, so I didn't want to spend a lot. Maybe that's the problem, but anyway. When I saw these for *** I thought "how can I go wrong?" I have the black ones, but I can't imagine that the white ones would be all that different. When I first got them, I thought they were too tight and wanted to return them, but I really needed some sunglasses and kept them anyway. They seemed to loosen up a little after a few days and fit pretty good. After a few weeks the shiny lacquer started to fleck off making the glasses itchy. Every day I scrape off a little more lacquer with my fingernail to try to make them less itchy. Or if I'm lucky, I can grab a piece and peel it off. I can get more off that way. It's a little like stripping wallpaper, which is also annoying. Some day, when the lacquer is all flecked off, these will be a decent pair of sunglasses. That is if I don't break them first.
First of all, I wrote a review, but I don't see it - so I'll assume it didn't post and rewrite it. There are only two demerits I can give these glasses, both of which I could have seen if I examined the picture better. First, the lettering on the side saying "Body Glove" is something I dislike (I don't like to be a walking billboard), and the lenses are brown, not black, as I had anticipated. That said, the pros WAY outweigh the cons. First, they are sturdy as can be. I don't drop sunglasses often, but I'm sure that, if I did, they'd be fine. Secondly, I love the unique pearlescent white color. The construction is fabulous, and feels right on my face. Finally, they make me look really stinking cool. ;) I originally rated these a 4, but, realizing that I could have realized the existence of the problems I had with them if I had looked at the pictures with a little more due diligence, I rate these a 5. They are excellent. Now, everyone else seems to use them for a lot more fun stuff than I do. These are just my everyday, going for a walk, going for a drive glasses. They don't block light as well as i'd like due to their color (I like my glasses to make stuff DARK), but that may be because they weren't designed for that. My point is, though, regardless of what you're using them for, these glasses are badas$ and I would definitely recommend that, if you're sitting here reading my review, you click the "Add to Cart" button and enjoy these glasses as much as I do - because you will. Definitely the best pair of sunglasses I've owned under $*** - and they're WAY under that! Buy them! Doooo it!
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Perfectly, except that these are really pearly, not a plain white
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Perfect, durable. You'd think they were made of steel, not plastic.
- How accurate was the sizing? Well, it depends. Since there's only one size, and I think it fits fine, I approve. My family, though, tells me they aren't wide enough for me. I disagree, but, then, I'm 6'5", 240 lbs. They'd fit an average sized person perefectly
These sunglasses are great. They block out UVA/UVB rays well. Highly recommended if you use them on the water. They clinch onto your face while you wakeboard or whatever water sport you doing.
