BUYER BEWARE!!
I bought these sandals LAST MONTH. I had searched long and hard for the perfect pair of Birkenstocks, and I was so pleased with these that I've been wanting to buy another pair or two--that is, until the cork started falling apart. The cork is breaking up in the same spot on BOTH shoes! I was so shocked by this, as the last pair of Birks I owned lasted me several years. What is going on with this formerly awesome company? I am very upset and regretting my purchase. :(

Great Style, Poor Craftmanship
Be warned-- These are awesome shoes. Birkenstocks are always the most comfortable. BUT the straps are two layers of leather glued together and they will come apart!!! Mine have pulled apart and had to be reglued twice. Too bad. I hope Birkenstock hasn't started using cheap materials.

I have 3 pair of these sandals
I first bought these sandals 4 years ago and paid full price at a local shoe store. I loved them so much I bought 2 more pair this summer on line. They are the most wonderful sandals I own. They are stylish and comfortable. I have worn the first pair out. I wear them everywhere and walked all over New Orleans La, Hilton Head SC and Savannah Ga. Great sandals!!!

Comfy
Never had a pair of Berkenstocks before, but I really like this style. Much cuter than some of them. I had a pair of knock-offs a while back, but these are much better!

Bottoms take awhile to break in
The straps are comfortable and soften up pretty quickly. But, the bottoms are stiff and I think they will take me awhile longer to break these in so I can wear them all day. I am at about half a day now and I have had them for 2 months. I have a few freinds who swear by Birks, so I will keep working on breaking them in.

not properly sized
The color wasn't at all like the picture. The size was way off. I always wear a 36. however I held the sandal up to a 38 shoe and the sandal was bigger.
