I bought these sandals thinking they would be similar to birkenstocks...they weren't. Upon arrival it was evident that they were cheaply made. There was a huge "made in china" stamp on the inside! I sent them back, and it took 3 weeks to get a refund. I usually love shopping with overstock, but this has been an unpleasant experience.

I bought these nearly a year ago. I have gotten complements on them. They look good on my feet...more feminine than some of the other Berkeys. They feel good on my feet and I would highly recommend them.

have worn Birkenstocks for 20 years and these are the most uncomfortable of all the styles. Sent them back immediately.

This sandle is incredibly comfortable, stays on your foot well, and looks really sharp on. Highly recommended.

Where else can you get a Birkenstock sandal for that price.

I was thrilled when I saw Birkie style thongs. I live in flip flops all summer long. These are so comfy and look great. So casual, but you can dress them up as well. Price was great too. Above all, I can wear thongs and still have the support my feet need. Thanks Overstock.com.

This is my second pair and I love them. I did find out that if you wear a half size you can order the size you are and not go the half size bigger. I wear an 8½ and I bought the 9 the first time and the 8 this time and the 8 fits me just fine. I think it fits better than the 9 does but it won't keep me from wearing the 9. If you want a little more foot room then go the half size bigger. I get a lot of compliments on the sandal so I have been telling everyone about Overstock.com and that they need to come here to buy the sandals.

So you know, we girls need to have good brown shoes, and good black shoes. So this summer I'd picked up a pair of Naot brown sandals and was on the search for black sandals. These are not only a terrific value for the amazing quality, but have become my favorites overnight! I love everything about them, from the average sized footbed, (Naot is so narrow) to the soft black leather. I don't even mind the thong feature between the toes, because the strap that goes over your foot takes the brunt of the pressure and provides stability, quite comfortably! I get tons of compliments on them, and they're the kind of shoe that you forget you're wearing. They're my first real pair of birkenstocks, and now I see why they've been a staple for people looking for quality and comfort for decades.

I love this product and will order again and again

I have been wanting a pair of burkies for a while and saw these on the daily special and couldn't pass them up. I have to say that the color of the leather is darker than the picture and is a true black leather color which is great because I wanted them to be more black than not. (I thought it looked greyish in the picture. ) After wearing these for only two days I can already feel them starting to form to my foot. I was concerned about the sizing since I'm a 9 1/2 or 10 depending on the shoe. My advice is to go up a size if you're unsure. I have wider feet at the top and while I could've worn the 9 (as I discovered trying on another pair a friend ordered), the 10 is more comfortable and isn't so big that it looks funny at the top and bottom.

I must agree with the 1 star rating from the Va customer. I really love the look and feel of Birky sandals, and was very happy to see them as the buy of the day. I ordered my usual size, but they were way too big and uncomfortable to boot. Very disappointing and a costly way to try on shoes!
