Ben Sherman suits are exceptional values for men who can wear athletic/slim suits. In my size, i.e., 42R, this means the waist of the pants are 35" instead of 36" in standard cut suits. The pants also ride lower below the naval, more like the fit of a pair of jeans, and the pants taper more toward the ankle for a really tailored fit. As it drops from the shoulder to the waist, the jacket is similarly tailored with more darts for the trim fit. Contrary to the webpage the exterior jacket pockets ARE NOT "FAUX", or FALSE, they are merely sewn shut, as are all off the rack suit jackets to facilitate construction. When you take the pants to have the bottoms finished, take the jacket along and have the exterior pockets opened as you see fit. Some men never carry anything in outside pockets and leave some or all of the exterior pockets sewn shut. Others may only want to open the exterior breast pocket to hold a pocket square or glasses, while the rest of us open all exterior pockets. Aside from an extremely tasteful, understated pinstripe, this suit, for all the complexity of design, has the most perfect pattern match you can find in any suit for less than four figures price. Wear your Ben Sherman suit to any upscale department store and compare for yourself. The all satin linings, worsted wool construction and limited use of canvass between the two create a very tropical weight suit for warmer climates. If you live in a cold climate, it is perfect for indoors, but you'll need a good topcoat or overcoat for perambulating the outdoors.
