another customer stated that she had purchased a pair for her daughter,and the heels which are HOLLOW,promptly wore through.Now,going by the description one would think these boots have a rugged/strong soles and heels---they DON'T which is my complaint as well.My other grievance is this sheepskin lining ??where is it ?you'd be as well off purchasing another boot with a full synthetic fleecy" type of lining.If you have the $$s to spare and simply want these for fashion---buy em......mine are going right back .
I already own a pair of these boots, which I bought at a store. I ordered the same boot, different color, and was worried they wouldn't be as comfortable or true to size. I was pleased to see they are exactly the same size and very comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase.
I actually bought these to replace my other pair of Bear Paws. I chose lugged over the flat sole because of all the walking I do. My flat soled pair got holes in the middle of one of the worst rain storms I've ever been through. Never buying those again, unless specifically for comfort purposes. When these first arrived they felt much smaller than my other other pair but, as I've had BPs before, I knew they would break in. However, they are still the tiniest bit too small, but that doesn't stop me from wearing them. Neither does the constantly shifting foot insert. That piece is definitely smaller than the marked size as I can wiggle it around and curl my toes over the front. So annoying! Alas, I must have received a defective pair... I do intend to purchase BPs again with the hopes that my next pair will be even better!

I bought these for my 10 year old daughter. She wore them for about 1 1/2 months (Feb. 13 to March 25) on a part time basis. The rubber sole has "broken" at the heal and caved in on both boots. I can put my finger through it and touch the inside of the boot. They are completely unwearable. They were not placed in water or abused in any way. This is the first time she's ever worn out a pair of shoes before she outgrew them.Poor poor quality.
