Bearpaw Women's 'Alyssia' Suede Sheepskin-trim Lace-up Boots

So glad I read the reviews here and on Amazon. I usually wear 7.5 or 8 but after reading the reviews purchased a size 9 in this boot. Fit perfectly with enough room to wear a thick pair of socks if needed. Wore them yesterday on day when the high temp was 4 degrees and my feet were toasty warm. The opening at tops was ample enough to tuck my pants into too. Good purchase and super cute!

I like that these boots actually lace up and it's not just a prop for decoration. Very helpful when tucking in jeans. Warm cozy boots, and i wish they came in a better assortment of colors.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Color (Maple) was an accurate shade compared to the online picture.

• How accurate was the sizing? Ordered a size 7 and it was tight at the toes. Other brand boots a 7 is a perfect fit. So these seem to run a 1/2 size smaller than other brands.

These boots are super cute which is why I am so disappointed. They are very poorly made. The first pair were too small and were off balance. It was like putting on 2 left shoes. The bottoms were not even and I they made my feet tilt to one side. I kept checking the bottoms to make sure there was one right and one left. I sent them back and ordered 2 more pairs in the next size up. One black and one tan. The tan was more of a dark brown. Again both pairs were a bit too small and the soles were completely off balance. Again felt like 2 left feet and the bottoms were so uneven I was tilting to the side. No way to walk comfortably in them. Had to send them back ; ( It really sucks because they are so amazingly cute.

These boots are awesome. They inside is so soft and thick! But they run really small. I'm usually a ten, so I bought a ten and I'm going to give them to mom who wears size eight. They're not comfortable with one thin pair of socks on...they definitely won't be comfortable with winter socks.
