Great pair of boots for the money- but run big
I wasn't expecting these boots to be made of a very soft, buttery leather based on the previous reviews and those reviewers were correct. They are not made out of the best quality leather. BUT, I did wear them out after a snowstorm and they got salt and sand on them, I cleaned them off and they were good as new (and I had not treated them prior to wearing). They run big. Definitely go half a size down. Even with thick socks, my feet slip around. Also, I wear a dress size 12. I'm large but not heavy. The shaft area does not account for a very large calf. With skinny jeans, I really have to work to get them zipped all the way up. All in all, I'm very pleased with this boot. I feel like I got my money's worth and have worn them several times since purchasing.

- How accurate was the sizing? Runs big-- I normally wear a 7.5 but always size up in anything with a heel and my foot slips around-- even in thick socks
