Beautiful color and flowing fabric. Downside is the awkward chest. I had 2 bridesmaids with completely different body styles and both of them had to alter the chest area. One had to have the cups removed and lifted further up. It is possible to adjust the chest, however, there is a lot of braided fabric which made it quite difficult and after alterations, it would have been just as worth it to purchase the original J Crew dresses I wanted that would fit their chests. Overall, I was happy with the outcome once altered, the color and the fabric.

I ordered this gown for an upcoming Military ball. The color is just as beautiful in real life as in the picture. The fabric feels great. And I love that it has a built in bra cup. Love this gown!

This dress is very pretty and would likely be quite comfortable, however the fabric in the chest area is excessive. A person would probably need to be a D to fill out this dress. I purchased a size 2, and had to return b/c there was just way too much fabric in the chest area, you get lost. I was hoping I would be able to alter it, but because of themultiple layers, it seemed too difficult. Other than that, beautiful, high quality dress. Would recommend it to someone who is large chested, since it would probably offer great coverage.

ALSO THE SIZE 10 THAT I GOT FOR MY SISTER WAS A LITTLE BIG, SHE WEARS SIZE 8 REG AND WENT UP A SIZE DUE TO IT SAYING THE DRESS RAN SMALL.. I bought this dress for my sister for her prom and the fit was amazing. The color was beautiful. I was VERY pleased with the outcome. I would've definitely paid more for the dress.

I bought this gown for a prom. I was looking for something that was not too "dressy," and this gown was perfect. It is not flashy, yet it has just enough so that it is not too plain. It is VERY comfortable and really a good value for the price. I do need to have it altered. If you are small busted you can get kind of lost in the halter top, so the top needs to be adjusted. I would usually order a size 0 and I ordered a 2. The waist fits perfect. At just under 5'3" and with 3 inch heels, I wiil need to bring up the hem. Color is as it looks, a deep rich purple. The material is nice. I am very happy with this purchase!
