The dress is really cute and flattering!! I love the design and it has good quality too. I normally wear size 0 for BCBG dresses, so I went ahead and ordered size 0. However, the dress was to tight I had problem zipping the zip all the way to the top. So, please remember to order one size up.

This dress is so romantic looking, and whimsical. However, I saw a small rip in the top layer almost immediately. It was where the bodice and skirt connect, and can probably easily be sewn back. I also noticed that it made my hips look pretty big, and came up higher on my leg than I had anticipated, but it is still such a pretty dress.

I am very disappointed in this dress. The dress's material was shiny and cheap. It was like a halloween costume. I would not recommend this dress unless you are trying to find a dress for Halloween.

I loved this dress. I purchased it for my wedding day as an additional dress change. I changed into it before heading back to the hotel at the end of the night. I loved the pleats and the dress is comfortable. I would be careful of the size. The material is not stretchy so getting the right size is very important, otherwise it would be too tight or too loose.

It is an interesting dress, but the colors are very different than in the photograph. The blue is a smoky blue. Also, the dress falls funny at the waist.

I usually wear a size 2-4 so based on other reviews that it runs a little small I got the 4, and it is perfect! My waist is usually small enough for a 2, but often my chest needs a 4 (if that helps). It flows easily over hips. Whenever I wear it I have so many people tell me how much they love the dress, how cute, etc.. And I think it originally retailed for over $200 so it's a steal! Definitely a best buy for me!! And I don't think it looks or feels cheap at all, and I'm pretty picky about that. It flows really nicely & softly and is a very comfortable dress.

This dress really is a work of art. I wore it to a fraternity formal and it stood out distinctly from the other nondescript dresses and I received many compliments. Definitely order one or two sizes up- I am a 4 but the 8 fit me perfectly. The fabric is perfect for twirling and the color is very flattering. Buy it!

I bought this dress in anticipation of a formal function that I attend every year. I agree with the other reviews that said that this dress runs small, even for BCBG. I am 5'0" and typically wear a size 00 and am sized out of most brands, so I bought a 0. This dress fits perfectly for me - snug around the ribcage, the waist hits right at or above my natural waist and the length hits about 2 inches above my knees. The fabric (in blue) is even prettier in person than on the website. The only (minor) complaint that I would have is that the boning wore down one small spot in the lining of the dress and so pokes a little, but that can be easily fixed.

This dress is very avant garde looking and feeling. I'm wearing it a winter formal coming up and it will be perfect. If you know your dress size the sizing is very true, but if you don't i would reccommed a size up. The length is right above the knee and is very flowy and comfortable. My only problem was a weak zipper and it would get caught on parts of the dress. I love the dress and the majenta color is actually kind of like a plum violent color but beautiful !

I purchased this dress two sizes up (an 8 instead of a 4) based on other reviews, and found that it does run small. While the dress fit, I didn't find the fabric to be very flattering. The top was pretty, but it didn't lay smoothly on the bottom. It seemed to add volume through the hips. I also felt that the waist line fell unusually high (I'm only 5'5"). I'm returning the dress to Overstock today.

this dress was fabulous. it was everything i hoped it would be. the only thing was that it does not fit true to size. if you are a 4 buy a 6 etc. everything else about it is gorgeous :))

I read all the reviews posted before I bought this dress and they were right that it fit small, I orderd a size up and it fits great. The bodice of this dress has boning in it so there's not much give if you order the wrong stize. The detail on the shoulder is nice but a bit scratchy....the fabric is so shimmery though, it looks great on. overall a really pretty dress.

I've seen this dress previously before multiple times at the mall so when I saw that overstock.com was having a huge sale on it, I had to buy it. The fit was perfect, the color was as well (both the blue and the purple-which is what I bought). The frills in the front make it really sophisticated and the fit was perfect.

I purchased this dress to attend a zombie-themed wedding. (yes, you read that correctly.) I needed something modern with a slight nod to the 80s. Given the fun ruffle across the bodice and shoulder, this dress was a definite winner.Rather than order my usual size (8), I had a friend take accurate bust, waist and hip measurements. I compared those with the sizing chart and received a good fit with a 10. True to the sizing chart, the dress did fit....but it didn't really flatter. I'm a short 5'3" with a relatively high waist, and the cut of the dress didn't do a thing for my curves. It hung straight when it should have curved in, and the exterior fabric of the design didn't lie flat against my body, so it added extra fluff where I didn't have any.All of these issues, however, were resolved with a belt. I simply hid the buckle underneath the ruffles at my waist, so it didn't look out of place. Once the belt was added, the dress looked lovely and well put together.I did feel that the value was substantial (the dress arrived with a tag boasting a price more than three times what I paid!) and I made it work with just a few tweaks. Overall, it is probably better suited for straight-figured ladies rather than curvy girls.

This dress was excellent for my graduation dance, and it really was a standout. I would defintlely recommend to order one or two sizes up though. Though I am normally a 2, I order a 4. The fit a little snug, but it stilled looked great.

I bought this dress to wear for any high school formals in the next school year. I'm very petite and normally wear a size 0, but a size 2 for this dress fit rather comfortably. It looks great! As for women who aren't in school anymore...I'm not quite sure which occasions this would be appropriate to wear. All in all it's a very adorable dress, and i would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel like a "fairy princess" (not trying to make it sound too kiddy :P ).
