I couldn't pass the dress up for the price, but the other reviewer was completely right about the slip. It is akward. The straps weren't too long for me because I am pretty tall (5'9") and have a long torso, but the thing doesn't really cover my chest even a little bit. Plus the slip was a little too short for me as it barely covered my rear end. I will definately need to find a different slip for this. After that adjustment is made, it will probably be a really nice and cute addition to my closet.

This dress is very cute and appears in person mostly as it does online. However, the slip lining has a few problems. It's great that the dress has sewn-in snap loops to hold the straps of the slip in place, except that the straps are way too long. I thought about shortening them, but then the slip itself will be too short to work properly with the dress. So I think the solution is to buy another slip, which means if you choose to buy this dress, you're essentially paying only for the printed overlay. Considering the uniqueness of the sleeves and overall cuteness of the dress, though, I think it is still a good purchase.
