I usually take a small but found I can't wear this coat. The cut is too narrow in the arms so it cuts into your underarms. Order a size larger.

When I read some previous reviews that the jackets run small, I chose a large (instead of my usual medium) and I am glad I did. The shoulder seams are on the narrow side, so the large jacket fits me perfectly. I have room to move around and layer a bulky sweater underneath. The jacket is supposed to be fitted, and this jacket goes down just to my hips. The sleeves are long and have a very slight flare, which at first I was unsure about, but now I love. When unrolled, they go just past my hands, so it's not a big deal if I forget my gloves. I am thrilled with my purchase. It is my first shearling piece, and I just can't take it off.

I too felt the jacket ran small...really tight in the arms. The shearling is not soft like other shearling coats I own. The outside has kind of a shiny look to it that may soften with wear but I didn't like it....thought it made it look cheap. I gave appearance 2 stars cuz the style of the jacket is cute but this one is going back!

Please don't judge the item by my review. My problem is that the fit is small for the sizing. The jacket looks good, but I cannot wear it. I am keeping it in hopes that it will fit me next season.
