The top is very tight around the armpit and shoulder, and very loose around the belly. It is intended for a full figure body....but the cut is wrong...need more room around the shoulder strap. I feel suffocated eventhough it is about 4-5 inches loose material around my waist line. I got size L. If you look closely on the picture, you would detect what I explain on the cut. If a person can fit around the waist line, she will not be able to put on this swimming suit. This is the first time I see the cut with the floating-loose waist line, it does not look good when you are in water.Material is sturdy.
