Big, but . . .
I bought this bag as a knittinng bag. I found it plenty large enough to carry a full-size sweater-in-progress. I get compliments and comments often for this bag. But . . . this patchwork isn't a soild piece like a quilt. The leather pieces are stitched to a backing fabic instead of the other leather pieces. This constrruction probably will affect the longevity of the bag. Also, the chain showed is attached to the top zipper pull. This is fine, it gives you leverage to pull the zipper open and closed. However, the circle link that attaches to the pull spread and keeps falling out of the zipper pull. I actually had to reinforce this link by using a key-ring. The handles are a good length so the bag can be worn over the shoulder without pulling out and attaching the separate shoulder strap. Overall, I like this bag, but this bag does have some limitations.

Nice bag BUT......
Nice bag. Love love the patchwork, but the straps broke only a few days after I used it. I was really disappointed. Luckily there is an extra single strap that allows me to still use it. Had the flimpsy straps not borken, I would have easily given this bag 5 stars.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The straps are HORRIBLE quality but the bag itself is lovely.

Same issue as other bags but love the look
When I saw this purse on the website, I thought it was a stand-alone purse. It turned out to be a big floppy bag. Personally, I was okay with that. I loved the look of the purse. The colors were rich. The leather feels and smells good. I was concerned with whether or not I would like the look of the chain on the purse. LOVE IT. I have not had any problems with the chain yet. What I have experienced is the same problem I have with most purses. I tend to overstuff them and break the handles as a result. I did not anticipate that problem with this purse but, alas, today, about a month into my ownership of the bag, one of the short handles puled loose from silver cup into which it was inserted. I was so disappointed at that and I am not quite sure how I am going to fix it. Otherwise, I am happy with my purchase overall. Loved loved loved the way the strips of leather are stitched on the bottom. A woman in the post office saw the bag, asked if she could touch it, and said she was on her way home to order one for herself.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The colors on the bag I received were richer than on the picture. I was pleased with that.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality of the product was good. I can see this bag lasting for a while. My only concern is the strength of the handles.
- How accurate was the sizing? The sizing was accurate. I thought the purse was going to be be extra large, which is why I bought it. I was not disappointed.
