Amerileather Dual-sided Checkered Key/ Coin Pouch

While the concept of this product is good, the quality of the hardware is very disappointing. Keys are inserted by way of pressing a flimsy tab. The tab easily slips out of the "locked" position, and you end up with keys constantly falling out. The snap button for the valet key ring is also weak. I use this ring for my car key, and whenever I turn the ignition, the button detaches. The product does not serve its purpose at all, and I'm no longer using it.

I was looking for something to hold the many keys I carry, with a separate enclosure for my large car key and remote. I keep all my less frequently used keys on the key holder side, and actually did some adapting to the coin side, removing part of the divider and putting in a grommet. Now I can keep all my keys from jangling - and scratching - inside my purse, while not having several other keys hanging out if I'm just driving. It is bulky for just a key case, but works well. I couldn't find anything else with reasonable potential for 2 key compartments or anything that would encase a remote. The leather is certainly not the finest quality, but it is very functional.

This key purse looks and feels great but it is a bit small for its intended use. I did manage to fit my remote car key in one side and security entrance card for work in the other side and can use to enter without unzipping the purse which is handy. If this product had been at least 1/4 inch larger overall and made with a sturdy zipper it would be a 5 Star.

I ordered this really hoping it would work! The leather is wonderful, workmanship on the product is perfect but it DOESN"T HOLD THE KEYS! The actual little key things pop open at the least knock around. You can only put one key on each ring (the ones I remember way back when would hold a bunch!) and any jarring movement keys fly everywhere. I own a shop and was planning on using it for that but I'm constantly picking up keys off the ground when they come loose. NOT a good thing! Good to use as an extra "wallet" for add'l cash or loose keys but beware of the key holders - NOT GOOD! Too bad because it is a really cool style and very functional.
