The most luxurious slippers are made from double faced sheepskin. Double faced means a single layer of sheepskin with the outer face being tanned hide and the inner being a thick fleece. Double faced sheepskin slippers breath well and the thick fleecy fibers on the inner part of the slipper allows air to circulate during summer so that feet do not become excessively warm. In winter the sheepskin slippers prevent heat loss and are highly prized for their effectiveness. The slippers are designed to be worn without socks in order to maximize the benefits of sheepskin. Double faced sheepskin wool does not shed, because it's attached to the skin.

Stretchy Slippers
I rounded down a half size when ordering, knowing how fleece compresses. Could have gone down an additional size. Two weeks later they're large on me, and I can feel the side seams inside.

Snuggly Slippers
These are exactly what I wanted! I didn't want slippers with a rubber bottom on them, I prefer just a nice leather moccasin type of slipper and these were the only slippers I could find that had the sheepskin lining, a full heel AND the leather bottoms. Thank you Overstock! The only complaint I have...and luckily it's not a big deal, is that I ordered a size 8 and a size 7 was sent to me. They still fit - though a bit snug if I want to have socks on with them.

Light and Lovely
I wanted warm and cozy but breathable slippers I didn't have to wear socks with and that did not leave any part of my feet uncovered. After many failed attempts to find the right slippers, these do the trick. I did order a whole size down based on comments and was glad I did. And, yes, they do smell at first, but that went away very quickly. And, unlike some reviewers, I actually like that the bottom of the slipper is suede rather than rubber. Sure, you can't run outside in them, but they're a lot lighter and they don't build up static. Not so with rubber bottoms! So, these were a win for me. Glad to have them!

opened the box and people steped back. the smell was horibie really bad. sprayed them with deodorizer and threw them in the garage for two days. still had a faint odor. save yourself the trouble dont buy.

Made in the USA?
These slippers are very warm, soft, and look good. I was under the impression when ordering them that they were made in the USA. Afterall, they are called "Amerileather." Also I typed made in the USA in the search engine when looking for them. A few days after receiving them I happened to turn back the cuff and found a Made in China tag. Mostly I have nothing against China, but people are out of work in THIS country so I am disappointed even though the slippers seem nice.

These bedroom slippers are smelly!
I was very happy to receive these slippers until I opened the plastic bag and the fumes that came out were horrible. I have no idea what these are made of but I will not keep them. The slippers are comfy but that doesn't matter now. It's the odor I can't tolerate.

Snug and warm
These slippers are warm and comfortable. I wouldn't wear them outside since they have sheepskin and not rubber soles, but that's very minor. I sometimes wear them with socks, sometimes without. They fit slightly better with socks, but the fuzziness inside is perfect for wearing them without. I do recommend these.

I am in love! I only wish I could wear these slippers to work. I could have gone down another size they are a bit loose now but super comfy just the way they are!

you get what you pay for
Never had a slipper of this type so lightweight, about half the wieight of my old pair(that cost twice as much). It is comfy and warm, but I have to pull them on like a sock rather than just step into them because of the "floppiness". At half the price of other slippers of its kind, it is fine. You get what you pay for. If you want a heavier weight slipper, probably skip this one.

Soft and warm, pampered feet
niiiiiiice, warm tootsies, comfortable, great for the cold winter floors. Probably won't wear them in warm weather though.
