I love this handbag. I don't usually carry a very big purse/bag, but i've been needing to so i ordered this one.. i love the feel i love the smell love the look and everyone around me loves it and wants to know where i got it... i purchased the brown and it's awesome!

I bought this bag in the espresso brown and absolutely love it! I have been looking for a nice bag to carry my laptop and portfolio in because I hate the 'briefcase' look but have not had much luck. Then I found this bag which is big enough to fit both my portfolio and laptop along with my other personal effects. If you're looking for a bag with understated class and tons of functionality, this bag's for you!

This purse is definitely big, as others have noted. I didn't realize this was non refundable, so I guess I'm stuck with it! I thought it would look like the picture, but it didn't, it looks boring!! My loss...

Well...it IS a big bag, which (as another reviewer noted) took some getting used to, but I LOVE the look of this bag (so much like Kathryn Heigl's purse in "27 Dresses" in the wedding gift registry "scanning" scene), and because slouch hobo bags are so in right now. And yes (as noted by another reviewer), using the key-fob is mandatory, unless you want to spend every stop digging around for your keys. The best part is that you never really need to zip it, since it is is so deep, there is little risk of spillage or theft of inside items even without zipping it. My Blackberry fits perfectly SIDEWAYS in the larger of the 2 inside pockets perfectly, but (as noted by anothe reviewer), I'm not sure either of those 2 pockets will work for all cell phones (may not be deep enough to avoid their falling out, and that would be a nightmare with a purse this size). Another reviewer also mentioned the importance or having your contents organized - and I also agree with that. You should have a "combo-wallet" (checkbook, credit card, cash), and a make-up bag, cuz you can forget about finding anything smaller than that without a minor's helmet. Remember - it is too deep/dark to "see" any of the contents - you will have to rely on tactile searches only. Finally - great "travel" bag for flights, since it will hold an overnight's bag's worthof stuff, but the airlines will still call it your "purse" ;-) So...once you are used to the occasional panicked "wait - where is the elephant I just put in here?...oh wait..here it is"...you'll be golden.

The bag looks great on the photo but not what I expected. The photo shows it with more shine and a nicer finish. It is huge! The bag would be great as an overnight bag. The top edges of the bag is what dissapointed me the most, it has an unfinished edging which makes it look cheaper. I had read the reviews and maybe my expectations were higher. Maybe I just got a bad bag. The color seemed different than the picture also.

I love purses in this style. At least the style of the picture. When mine arrived it was humongous!!! I could fit my arms up past my elbows to touch the bottom of it. It did not look like the picture. I loved the way smell of the leather and the feel of it. Had it been a little smaller I would have loved this bag. I put my stuff in it and it all got lost at the bottom of the cavern. I had to send it back. I'd never use something so huge.

I really like this bag. It is so popular so I ended up waiting, then when ordering getting the last one left of the color I got. I was surprised at the short handle at first, but immediately realized that it was the right length because the bag is very tall. It looks good, just what I needed.But within a few days, and this is sort of a question if anyone can answer... I realized that the side that rubs my body (or clothes) already had a couple of spots where the leather seems to be wearing off. I am very concerned with this and am thinking about contacting overstock or amerileather. It is also very easy to get scratched. Should I have done something upon receiving to prevent this? I've not done that to my other bag so am unfamiliar. I really really like this bag but this is what concerns me.

I love this bag and am so happy that I purchased it! Although the strap drop is not that long, the bag is so slouchy that it fits perfectly under my arm and stays there. Having said that, the bag is deep and wide and could be a black hole unless you are organized. I always use the keyfob that is included, put my cellphone in the pocket, place anything I need to get to fast in the zippered side pocket and put my gloss, etc. in a cosmetics bag. It looks much more expensive than it was and I constantly get comments on it. And it still has that great leather smell!!!

First I must give praise to Overstock for getting me this bag in less then 4 days...WOW. This was my first Overstock purchase and I am very impressed. This is a HUGE bag...much bigger then I anticipated. I would have preferred it be a bit smaller but maybe I just need to get used to it. The strap length is perfect for me and the leather is high grade quality...I love that smell....The only (and this is a small complaint) issue I have with this bag is that the inside two open pockets are not very deep. I would like to keep my cell phone in one of them but it keeps falling out into the great wide open of this deep bag...so it is hard for me to find it quickly. Those pockets are useless in my opinion. The snap on key chain is PERFECT for this bag and is a life saver. I will definitely buy from Overstock again and from this brand.

I recieved it and feel in love with it at site... it is big but not heavy, or does not hurt my shoulder, plus looks awsume on me!!! the leather is excellent quality!! Totoally a happy camper!!!

Great sumptuous leather bag - I own other Amerileather bags and love this one the best - the cavernous opening is very covenenient for all my "stuff" and the shorter shoulder strap keeps the bag close to my body- Nothing like the smell of genuine leather!! Definitely a fashion "Do!"
