Gift for eight year old granddaughter who "loves, loves, loves it". What could be better than that?

I bought two of these robes for my daughters to use after swim practice. Nicely made, but the material is thin. If you want a big fluffy robe, this is not the one.

Robes were a bit thinner than I expected, but look nice, and good price.

The robe is cute, and the value was good, but it is a bit scratchy and not as absorbent as I would have liked. Also, the sizing was hard to determine. I prefer size based on age, as SML can be arbitrary.

My daughter liked the robe because it was long enough to cover her, it was not as "plush" as we had hoped for though. It was the only one I could find that was 100% cotton though for children under 18.

My child loves the robe; and it has washed well. While it is not as soft as I hoped for, it is comfortable enough and my girl really likes the color. So we are happy with the product and will recommend it to friends.

I am just so delighted that my daughters love these robes! I bought one turquoise and one fuchsia. It's hard to find hooded kid's robes in stores so i'm so happy to find it here! Love the quality too, plus it is made of 100% cotton! It's lightweight just like what i always wanted for a robe for my kids.

My daughter loved the robe. The pictures above are very misleading though because the robes are photographed on adult mannequins, and this is a child's item. So, the robe will not look like it does on the mannequin above. I think it's extremely misleading. Having said that, we do like the robe. It is soft and comfortable.

I bought this robe in fuchsia for my little girl & now she wants the other color too! I do agree with the other reviewer that the robe is flat on the inside, but that doesn't make a difference to me. It's cute, soft & absorbent & great for a pool cover up. We're taking to the beach this summer too.

Although design and appearance are nice, this is NOT French terry. It is my understanding that French terry is characteristic of having the loops on the INSIDE of the garment only, while the outside of the fabric is flat and un-looped. When a garment is advertised as French terry, it is understood that the loops are to be worn inside. This garment is the opposite. I bought this robe for my daughter, and had she not adored the stripes and color, I would have returned it since it was not as advertised.
