I love Adidas Supernovas, but I thought that I would try the Adistar. I do like the shoes, but they are NOT CUSHY like the Supernovas. Some people do not like cushy running shoes and these would be terrific for people who like a firmer feel. Also, they are a little too wide for my narrow feet, so if you like a firm footbed and have normal-width feet, these are the shoes for you.
I bought these shoes from O because I couldn't find anything in my size (5.5) in the stores. I was really looking for cross-trainers for a high-impact cardio dance class. But, I decided to try these because all of the reviewers mentioned the great arch support. These are great shoes! They fit well and look great. I have flat feet and they provide good arch support. Even though they are running shoes, they provide decent lateral support. Much better than the $100 Nike Shox cross trainers I bought a couple of months ago.
I must admit I am an adidas addict. It's the only shoe I use. These have to be the most comfortable ones I have ever owned. They have an orthopedic insert that is really comfortable. They have a wide toe box, as all adidas do. I tend to turn my ankles during my work outs and this pair of shoes seems to be more stable for me - quite a plus. I found the blue shade to be a nice powder blue - I really like it. All in all a really great value.
Not only are they airy, comfy, good to look at they provide room for what could be a very sore bunion by not having a ribbing or restriction along the place where my bunion pushes out. They are reasonably priced, I received them very quickly and I can walk literally, miles with comfort!
I loved these shoes as soon as I put them on. They were so comfortable and the arch support was great. They were true to size and looked good too!
I love my shoes but they are a little blue. However, I am a Carolina girl, so thats OK. They are very comfortable and Adidas has always been a good fit for me.
