I should have read the description more thoroughly as my disappointment was over the actual syle - too long and full at the bottom which gives it a kind of old fashioned matronly look. The quality and make is great, but I would not recommend this skirt to a petite young woman. Better for someone going to church or a PTA meeting, just what someone else might really want in a skirt.

These skirts are perfect and just what I was hoping for. I ordered Black and Teal and they look and feel great. I'm going to order more colors. I'm a size 6 and ordered the medium and it fits great. The fabric is very easy to take care of and for the price you can't beat them. Thanks for a great experience.

Skirts are perfect for business or a fun night out. They fit true to size. They're the perfect go to skirt when you're not sure what to put on.

The only reason I have not given it 5 is that I have not worn it yet. It looks nice and flattering though.

This is a well made, basic work skirt. Thankfully I read the reviews that suggested buying the skirt one size up, because it makes all the difference. My one complaint is that the slip lining is too long and peeps out whenever I sit down.

this skirt was poorly built and strangely structured. usually my experiences with this brand are positive but I have never bought one of their skirts before and i never will again.

This is a great skirt. Well-made and flattering fit. It does come up high on the waist so you may want to consider buying a size larger just so it isn't above your belly button.

This skirt is beautifully designed. The fabric has a nice 3-season weight, and it's sewn together well. Glad I read previous reviews & ordered a larger size than usual, though. Well worth the price!

I can only speak to the condition in which my skirt showed up but it came shipped rolled up in a tiny ball and shoved into a small plastic bag. The size was fine but the hem of the skirt was UNEVEN (crooked at a slant), not to mention that the lining of the skirt was longer than the skirt itself so it was sticking out at the bottom. It would cost more than the skirt is worth to have it altered so I will be sending this back to Overstock. I oder from OS all the time and rarely have issues, this is only the second item I have ever sent back due to poor quality.

I love this skirt. I am a seamstress, so really appreciate good quality fabric and sewing. This is a beautifully made lined skirt. It looks very high quality, and hangs very well. The down side is that it runs very small. I normally wear a 14/16, and the 1X didn't fit. I had to send it back. But I bought one for my daughter, who is 5'9", and she loves it. The length is very nice. We are tall (ish) and the skirt hits us below the knee, but not mid-calf (which is a bad length). Absolutely worth the price.

Nothing very exciting about this skirt, but nice all around. I ordered two - tan in small and gray in medium - because I was unsure of the sizing. I've decided to keep both. Definitely more comfortable than most skirts I've tried with this more tailored styling. I think the darker color looks nicer - the lighter tan color makes it more obvious that the tailoring isn't perfect so it can look a little cheap.Personally, I've found the the lining to be too long. When I sit it has a tendency to stick out. I'll definitely be hemming the lining up but I still like the skirts overall.

The skirts seemed to be made well, had good color and nice lines. However, I ended up having to return them as the sizes run quite a bit smaller than other designers I've tried. One other drawback was that the sizes advertized S, M, L but the skirts were not elastic nor stretchy fabric - that's a specific size, not S, M, L!

I purchased 2 of these - teal & brown. LOVE them with boots! The fit was perfectly to specs. It rides high on the waist, so i wear a sweater or belted blouse out over the waistband. Beautiful flow, nice material. Maybe a little pricey, but worth it for a good winter skirt.

As others have said, great skirt, but it runs REALLY small. I generally wear a size 2 or 4, so I ordered a small. It fits, but barely! Five pounds more and it would be a no-go. I am returning and ordering a medium instead, just so I can continue to wear it though any weight fluctuations. It is a little longer than I expected - definitely a mid-calf length (and I'm 5'7). I may decide to have it shortened to below-the-knee once the right size comes in. The fabric is decent... it's what you expect for a polyester blend, but at least it has a lining that feels nice on the legs. Very cute cut. I suspect I will get a lot of wear out of it. I chose the charcoal and it's a nice, extremely neutral color, looked good with almost everything I paired it with.

I love the color, fit and comfort of this skirt, but the darts in the back are not sewn properly and are pointy. Looks funny. I have worn the skirt with a long top and that works. When I have time, I'll bring it to the tailor and have them fix it. If you are willing to do that, then I would recommend the skirt. I may call overstock and ask them about this.

It's hard to find mid-length skirts that aren't full skirts. This skirt looked great, had good color selection. So I bought two. the only problem was sizing! It came in small, medium and large. I wear an 8, so I ordered a medium. When I received them I was disappointed because they were too tight! I thought I could reorder, but when I tried, they were all sold out, in every color(only a week after I originally ordered). Needless to say, I was disappointed. If they had fit, I would have been delighted in every way.I've asked to be notified if they become available again.
