I was looking for high wool count and found it in this coat. I am familiar with AK garments, and trusted that the coat would be of good quality... and it is! You can't go wrong at this price point, excellent value. I am quite tall, 5'11 but fairly narrow through the hips, so I always have to buy 2 sizes up in anything fitted, & have it altered down through those areas. I have really long arms & the sleeves are JUST to my wrist bone, could get away with no alteration but I'll probably have them let down a bit. I bought a large and it's perfect up top, roomy enough for sweaters but still tailored looking. The collar flips up nicely (not shown in pictures), into a sort-or funnel neck, which also looks nice. The fabric is almost cashmere-soft in feel, it far surpassed my expectations. It's not cold enough here yet to give it a test drive, but it seems it will be very warm & comfy. I agree with other comments that the belt is REALLY long, but that is an easy fix at the tailor's, and the black plastic buttons are a bit chintzy looking, but honestly, for this price this jacket's an all around winner. Well made, beautiful deep red shade, and a great price. I've never purchased clothing online before, but my overall experience at Overstock was so good, I'd do it again.

Warm but not superheavy like a puffcoat, love the way it's cut-very slimming, fitted but not too fitted. The tie around the waist is extremely long; I actually had it shortened which was very easy for the seamstress to do. I found it was very true to size; I'm 5'10 and slender and the large fit very nicely. Predictably, the arms were too short for me (a common problem for me with coats), but the seamstress was easily able to lengthen them thanks to the cuffs and now they're perfect. Great coat!

I bought this coat because I needed a shorter coat for winter. I am 5"8" slender and the overall fit of the Large fit me perfectly. I would usually wear a mid to heavy weight sweater underneath. The sleeve length is long enough for me - usually that is a concern. I know some other reviews say the belt is too long but I tied it in a single loop and it is fine. If you are tall and slender this coat is great because the belting will give definition at the waist. The detail and workmanship of this coat make it an absolute bargain. When I showed my niece the coat, she said "keep it, it's a no brainer".

We chose the charcoal color, because we had her cats in mind since they shed and get fur everywhere. The color does seem to hide the lint and dander from afar. The belt accentuates her not-so-slender middle which was what I was looking for in a coat for her. She's never really had a coat like this before, so it was going to be a hit for sure ;) Shipping was fast, and all in all it's happiness all around!

I am always leary of ordering clothing online, but just hated to spend that full retail price in a regulard dept. store. This coat is true to size and fits wonderfully! LOVE it!

PROS: coat is incredibly stylish, very flattering after frequent "adjustments" and warm CONS: the belt is way too long, the buttons and buckle are cheap plastic and the collar (annoyingly) rides up the back of my neck causing the need to frequently "adjust" how the coat is wearing on. The frequent "adjustments" make the coat not so elegant

The coat is beautiful. I ordered red in a medium. That is my usual size and it fits perfectly! It was a great price for a high quality coat. I love the belted waist (although the belt IS very long) and the offset collar...very stylish!

Bought this for my fiance and she loves it! It has been absolutely great! She usually wears a small but we bought the medium and it is perfect if you are going to wear anything thick under it ie. sweaters, sweatshirts, or layers! So just a little tidbit of info... But most of all she LOVES it!

I love this jacket. I needed a warm jacket and would be stylish and keep me warm in 40 degree weather. This did the trick, and it is super stylish too! Only downfall is it gathers a bunch of lint, but that's what a lint roller is for right?

The coat is very nice, esp for the price. Ordering a jacket online failed me once before so I was a bit hesitant at first. However, I am now glad i made the purchase. I haven't had the chance to try the jacket out in harsh cold weather, but im pretty confident that it will hold up fairly well!

I was a little worried about the fit (she's 5'7" and 130lb - I wasn't sure if that's a small or a medium), but I figured I would go with a medium so that she can wear it over bulky sweaters without it being too tight. The coat fits well (though the belt is really long), and looks adorable. Definitely a great buy.

I sent this coat as a Christmas gift and got a call that the coat was, "Perfect." In fit, in color, in quality and in beauty. This was a welcome call since I had sent a few other coats from other stores to different relatives, thinking I was going very practical this winter, and did not get the kudos back as I did from this one. The only other coat I bought that received as many positive remarks back was another one ordered from Overstock and also an Anne Klein. So I would suggest Anne Klein as a go-to brand and to use Overstock as your store. They delivered in record time also, whereas two other coats I ordered from another online only place are still "in process" on their website and may not make it for Christmas. Overstock got it there with time to spare. I am a happy customer.

I bought the charcoal gray color in small (I'm 5'8", 130 lbs). It's not a slim fit, but the belt cinched at the waist gives it a cute shape, and I'll appreciate the extra room once the weather turns brutal. Just enough structure; not too military. The slight funnel neck gives a feminine touch. The fabric is soft, and this is the perfect color to hide a little lint! It's also warm (I'd been looking for something at least 80% wool), and my husband likes it a lot more than my old, mostly shapeless toggle coat. Two minor cons: the pockets have wool only on one side so they can get drafty, and the (small) shoulder pads make a slight crinkly sound.

This coat is an excellent value. I don't have much time to shop for clothing, and was a little hesitant to shop for a coat without trying it on first. What a pleasant surprise! This coat is not only stylish, but comfortable, vibrant in color (I bought it in red), warm, and very true to size. A great find!

These are beautifully tailored and extremely comfortable. I am 5'4" and I don't feel like I'm drowning in the non-petite sizes. Great value!

I love this coat and I've had many compliments on it. Everything is perfect, the fit, the color, it's comfortable and I love how the collar isn't cut too low and can block the wind and still look fashionable. There are only 2 things that I've complained about. I have longer arms and the sleeves fit perfect, except when I'm driving then they get really short. And the belt is REALLY long, and it's time consuming to get it to wrap around to the loop in the back so most of the time I just let the long end dangle. But beautiful coat. I love it.
