Finding a pair of shoes that fit and look the part wasn't easy, but these shoes are perfect. They are comfortable and they fit true to size, and they are well-made. The copper heel is killer! This is a good shoe.
VERIFIED PURCHASEI purchased a 9.5 W, which is what I wear in a *** Freedom walker. I have a doctors made shoe insole and was not able to fit the insole into this shoe. I had another original ***** Shoe insole that I wear in this pair of shoes. Works out great. I must tell you this shoes seems to run a little narrow in the upper foot. The heel fits my narrower/normal heel great. I do use a shoe horn to get it past the heel. Now if you have bad feet you will know that a good fit in the heel is just as important as a good fit in the front. Because the heel is made so firm and fits so well I can go out into our Back To **** style garden and walk/ work and not roll over in my shoes. The *** shoe with the inserts allow my ankles to roll out...then after a short period of time my side calf muscle feels like it is tearing in an attempt to keep the soles of my feet on in contact with the earth. With these shoes I do not do that. This shoe does pinch one of my toes my right foot still, but that is getting stretched out a bit. I really would love to get this exact shoe in a double wide front part. I hope this helps someone, it is terrible to have hurting feet. Oh, garden dirt will plug up the bottom of the shoe and it will track into your house, but on the other hand this shoe makes you feel a little more sure footed on wet and icy surfaces. The box also says you may also machine wash this shoe. I have not tried this yet. I am considering doing it to free up that toe space. I regularly wash my *** shoes in a sink with a brush and take clothes pins and clip the right and left sides of the heel of the shoe together and allow to dry. This firms up the heel support. Hope it helps.

A very flattering shoe!
