I purchased it for my parents, ages 62 & 67 with failing eyesight. They said it was too big and too complicated.

What a fun gift this has been to give! My husband has trouble seeing the smaller buttons on our other remote. He says he'll be able to program the DVD/VCR player so much easier now. It took a little longer than expected to program, but works fine.

This remote would only program to control 1 of my 3 devices. I can control the VCR with it. It will not control the DVD player or the TV whether I use the search feature or the included codes. This makes it much less useful than I had hoped and therefore I won't be using it at all. It was a neat idea to have a such a big all in one remote but in actual use it failed me.

It's great, I bought it for my mother. She's always losing the remote & can't see it well. The big buttons on this are a great help and she can see them without struggling. The only problem I had was programming the vcr/dvd combo, it's very limited on the codes for that. I had to program it separately. It took the code for the go video combo (only one code) and it only worked for the vcr part, so I had to enter a separate code to have access to the dvd part of the 2 in 1 unit. I purchased 2, one for home & one for her to use during her visits at my sister's house. She loves it.
