About three months or so ago, I was ordered by my doctor to purchase this book. Doctors have so little time these days, and this gave me an actual guideline to follow. Buying the book through Overstock.com, made it easy on my time and pocketbook to do so. This book is loaded with humor: relevant facts about nutrients and digestion; the purposes and workings of our internal organs; where hormones are produced and how we screw them up. My most confounding surprise came when the book revealed that the human body has an "Omentum". This thing called an "Omentum" explained many mysteries for me. It's about time that someone had the initiative and gumption to bring this to our attention. Reading this book has led me into five different research projects to heal myself and my family. It has succeeded in moving me to make changes that are beneficial to our lives. Since reading this book, I have purchased more as presents for family and friends. The authors have truely been inspirational in their ability to explain and motivate the previously ignorant . This book did not embarrass me of my ignorance, but made me feel overjoyed at the discoveries. If I hadn't been home and tuned in to "Opera", even a well-known physician like Dr. Oz would have escaped my attention. I really appreciate this book!

This is a great book - written so well and very simply put so that anyone will understand the digestive processes and what goes on when we eat the things we eat - good and bad. Dr OZ uses humor very well to help him drive the point. Great Read!

You on a Diet is a safe way to change your eating habits to more fiber, less sugar and 30 minutes of exercise everyday. This book explains how your body breaks down and utilizes each type of food we should and shouldn't eat. Very informative.

As usual these doctors have shown how simple it is to get healthy and stay that way. I'm using it to gain better health and stay fit. So far .so good

This is not a fad diet book. This book will help anyone who reads it to learn more about their body¿s nutritional requirements, physiology and the facts about not only "dieting", but how to make the most of the food consumed. This book is an exceptional resource for anyone who would like to lose weight healthfully and KEEP it off. By following simple principals of this book, I've lost 18lbs and am at my goal weight. I have recommended this book to my friends and family; those who have also now read it feel the exact same way as I do, they love it! It's perfect to keep as a reference as well. If I could give it ten stars, I would!
