Warner Bros. Interactive's series of mini-game collections brings its parlor, arcade, and backyard activities to the Xbox 360 for the first time in Game Party: In Motion. Kinect-enabled gamers can take on 16 different activities, including Darts, Hoop Shoot, Rootbeer Tapper, and Table Hockey, all by simply using natural arm and body motions. All of the games support multiplayer action, with local and online head-to-head action for two-to-four players, and tournaments supporting up to 16 different people. Game Party: In Motion offers full "Avatar" and www.Facebook.com integration, allowing gamers to post achievements and automatically notify friends when they are playing. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

This game was more difficult to get the motions right. For instance, when I played horseshoes, I was able to throw the shoe just fine the first two rounds, then when it was time to do the third round, using the exact same motion as before, the game suddenly couldn't pick up my motion and made the horseshoe go off cockeyed! It was very frustrating.
I did not buy this from Overstock. Actually I did not buy it at all... a friend did and I was the lucky person who got to try it out with them.
The controls are quite bad.. I was able to beat the game but WOW these controls are just awful. You kind of figure it out in time but unless you are buying this for 5, maybe 10 dollars..... I would not do it. Honestly don't even spend 10 on it.
It does have a few neat games... Bean bag toss, Beer pong, Horseshoes.... which could be more fun if the controls had a better set up.... or worked more than 30% of the time I should say
If this was the first Kinect game you played... It would make you think Kinect is worthless. Stick with Kinect sports.
Game Party: In Motion seems like it would be a lot of fun. Who wouldn't want the ability to turn your x-box into a full feature arcade with 16 games including darts, basketball, and beer pong? But in reality it is a source of bad implementation with the Kinect. Compared to the other Kinect launch titles the motion tacking on this game is completely awful. My roommate gave up on this game after he was unable to navigate the menus without complete frustration. The game does not use any of the standard motions present in the other games for pausing or selecting items. You find yourself contorting in odd ways just so the sensor will pick up your selections. If you get past the menu and into a game it only gets worse. You have to laugh at the group of games labeled "precision" because there is no such thing with this game. For example while attempting to play darts you must swing your arm out to your side and throw the dart sidearm for it to even register, then the dart flies erratically no matter what you do. There is no way to aim. This game could have been a great party game but instead you end up with a game that only succeeds at showcasing how bad the Kinect tracking can be when not properly programed. If you want to try it for yourself rent it at most, if you cant rent make sure to save your receipt. Pretty much any other Kinect game will leave you more satisfied.
