We got this game for our 16 year old son, who requested it. He wanted it because he has played it at a friend's house. Now, they can play together via xbox live at their own homes and still get together in person and play in multi-player mode. This is one of several games that he asked for and I believe he said that it is one of his top 3.

This is my first (fps-style) game I've played in years, and I'm amazed at how easy it was to get used to the controls. The game itself is outstanding. Plot lines and side stories keep you engaged and I'm hooked on getting each segment completed... but once you do the next piece comes up and you end up playing on. Graphics: are very real, especially in the script segments - it looks like a movie. Fighting action: is a bit hectic at first until you get used to what you are doing, then it becomes more fluid and you get through the (basic) bad guys quicker. When you die; and I admit there have been some parts where I'll die repeatedly until I figure out the right way to approach the scenario; you immediately get a chance to try again. I'd recommend upgrading your ballistic body armor first... the bad guys shoot relatively accurately from a distance, but will shred you if you get caught up close. Challenges: Some parts where you can get stuck on are more of the 'puzzle' challenges, perhaps if I had played the first Batman they would have been easier to solve, but that's the only part of the game that slows down play. Overall: it's a great game, challenging, hugely entertaining, well written, engrossing, and I look forward to playing it next chance I get.

my wife told me about this site and it is great! I got this game for $45.00 two days after its release and this is a $60 game. the only downside is that the shipping takes its tiiiimmmmeeee.
