This wireless adapter was made originally to work with the first edition xbox but I purchased it for my husband for Christmas because it said it was compatible with both xbox and 360 and it is! For half the price! The only thing different about the newer one is that the color matches the 360 and it's smaller. Save yourself $50 and go with this one!

I don't know how gamers could stand it. Not being a gamer myself, I bought this for my moded Xbox with XBMC. The old Xbox mind you, so no HD, and this thing still couldn't keep up. Lag lag lag. Ended up running an ethernet cable along the walls. So if you're buying this stream video to a playback device without wireless, look elsewhere.

My son, was extremely happy when he found that XBOX had a wireless adapter, and even more happy when we found it on Overstock.com for less then the name brand gaming adapters elsewhere. He received it, plugged it in to the system and it found a signal immediately. He was online, in his own room, within 10 minutes of opening the package. Thank you, Overstock. I now have my computer back.

Works great and is easy to set up. Don't use the install disk and you shouldn't have any problems. I just wish I would have known to save the adapter before selling it with my old X-Box.

We purchased this for our 14 year old son to use with the XBOX 360/XBOX Live. It works beautifully and is signifantly cheaper than the white plug in that matches the white 360. Great product, great price.

The xbox wireless adapter worked fine with my xbox 360 elite console for half the price of the xbox 360 one. Also, the color is black which matches my console.

This works great for a xbox 360, setting it up was really easy and fast. If you dont want to spend the $100 on the xbox 360 wireless networking adapter this is what you should get

Just remember to have your wireless set at WEP setting. And if you have a cordless phone it could interfere with the signal. Other than that it is perfect for its price.

I use this every night on Xbox Live with no issues what so ever. I¿m not sure what problems others have had connecting this box with Xbox 360, but it took me about 3 minutes to hook up and connect to Xbox Live. Save your money and buy this little box for the 360. Trust me; the wife is very happy I saved $50.

This adapter works great with my XBOX 360. The only drawback is that it doesn't support all of the most recent types of wireless security, so I had to reconfigure my security type on my router for it to work - after that I have had absolutely no problems with it.

It gets the job done, but it always has tremendously low signal. No matter where I put the receiver, it always registers the signal as low. I've tried forwarding ports and no matter what, always says "low" signal. Other than that, it gets the job done.

If you have an XBox 360 and need wireless networking, this item works great and for about 1/2 the cost of the wireless adaptor you see in stores for XBox 360. It also is better because it plugs into your network plug and doesn't use up a USB on your XBox 360. Do not use the disc that comes with it. Just plug it in and configure your wireless password if you have one and you are good to go.

it works if you have a xbox, but xbox 360 doesn't support it, so if you have a 360, step up and buy the 360 version instead of skimping.

I have a modded xbox and use this to allow XBMC to stream movies from my network. The device connects to my wireless-g network at 54 mbps and can stream dvd movies over the network. It's supposed to work for the 360 also so that'll be a great feature when i get one, and at half the price its a bargain!

I purchased the Xbox wireless adapter to use instead of the Xbox 360 wireless adapter because it costs approximately half as much. I didn't have any problems connecting to my network to play games via Live.

It hooked up in about 15 seconds. Well worth the money and works perfect with the Xbox 360.
