  I purchased the XBox 360 primarily to be able to plug my 2 TB external hard drive into so that I can play an enormous movie collection on my home entertainment system. I'm not an avid game player. The XBox also has online movie services, etc., which is pretty cool but you have to pay an annual subscription to XBox on top of the online movie carrier costs. And finally, my home system is expensive and elaborate consisting of the Mac OS ecosystem. I wanted to get the Apple TV for this job but it doesn't have a USB port for external hard drives, you can only stream. So I got the XBox instead...and we all know Microsoft and Apple don't integrate together very well. But if you a gamer...kudos! My 16-year old love it.

  I searched for wks trying to find the best deal! I was only going to get it for the kids, but it has been fun for the whole family! We really enjoy the Adventure game that came with it! Great fun and exercise! Extremely funny! It got here in less than 5 days (had a little problem with address, it cut off the apartment number, but luckily i had a wonderful lady at fedex that i was communicating with on another product & she was able to catch this one before it was too late) Thank you Overstock for the excellent products at a GREAT price!

  I don't know if its just mine or if they all do this buy mine was bought from WalMart & it over heats pretty bad which is good in the sense it keeps my room warm in the winter as we have no heat in this old house, but its bad for other obvious reasons. I chose this version because of the connect as they make great mics if your the only one using one, if not they tend to cause a lot of echo. Not sure about if the game is good or not as I have never opened mine, as I said I got connect for the mic not for gaming. I have had my Slim now going on a little over a year & I have since then added a 320GB hard drive which I got for $60.00 new. I do not buy games on DVD anymore but instead shop for them on the market place to cut down on people thefting or scratching my disks. I have also added a fan cooler to help cool mine down some but it doesn't seam strong enough to pull off the job, but it is a nicer looking stand.
