This book has been very helpful to show me the ins and outs of the new program Windows Vista. It's been a great reference for my random inquiries.

Have found all of the Dummy books to be helpful, this one is no exception. There seems to be more changes with Windows Vista than other Windows updates. It has helped with some of the problems I've encountered, not all. The info about outdated software & how it can be used didn't work.

I found the book to be informative and entertaining. The author rcommends having the book handy and looking up the problems when they occur. He also gives you several ways of accomplishing a task and then tells you to write one down on the front of the book. A great short cut. I am computer deficient and I found the book to be very helpful. I have a lot to learn and am less intimidated since I have this book. And, it's funny.
