Although there are several hits here -- "Always on My Mind," "If You`ve Got the Money, I`ve Got the Time," "City of New Orleans" -- they`re outweighed by a number of album tracks. This approach is commonplace in budget-line compilations and the results are usually shoddy, but that`s not the case here. Nelson is such a gifted, reliable musician that it`s easy to draw a handful of cuts at random and get a pretty good album. That`s what happened here -- "I Never Go Around Mirrors," "Help Me Make It Through the Night," "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground," and "It`s Not Supposed to Be That Way" may not have been hits for him, but they`re all fine renditions.
