Why Does Izzy Cover Her Ears.
We have a "sensitive" daughter, she is seven. I bought this book to read with her, after reading the reviews. I am so happy I did! I can not tell you how validating this book is to her. As we read it the first time, she sat intently and when she recognized that many of the instances in the book mirrored her own feelings/sensitivity, she said "That's like Me"! For her to feel that she isn't alone and there are reasons for some of her behaviors has made a huge difference. I would highly suggest this book if you have a child or adult that would benefit!
