I was a pre-school teacher. I wanted some books for a one year old I could read my granddaughter that I liked to read aloud.This is one I liked when I did this for a living.

My grandson loves this book. It's very fun to read it and have the chanting along and hand movements that I know also go with the book.

I loved this book! It was very entertaining for my 2.5 year old as well as for me as an adult! I find myself saying"were going on a bear hunt....etc" You will also find yourself repeating these words.

My little guy (14 months) has wanted this story read before nap for months now. its a great story that builds up to an exciting, not scary, chase that my son wiggles and giggles at. He always will grab this book to have it read at reading times. the illustrations are great for kids. one page with color the next black and white. great book, highly recommend this book for children of any age.

My three year old likes the book OK, but not one of his favorites. Our one year old shows no interest. I had read great reviews about the book, but I don't enjoy reading this one. We prefer the Dr. Suess books, Sandra Boynton books, Daddy Kisses, Mommy Hugs . . . .
