I don't belong to Weight Watchers but I came across the Versatile Vegetarian Cookbook on the internet and figured I'd give it a try. I've had the book for about 2 months and have tried several of the recipes. I must say that both my husband and myself have been very impressed. This has become one of my go to cookbooks. I dislike vinegar and this book doesn't fall back on vinegar as a staple as so many other vegi cookbooks do. The recipes are simple and the ingredients are easy to find in the local market. The book is filled with hints that I have found to be very helpful.
If you are going to buy this book, just know that THERE ARE NO PICTURES. Its all text. The recipes are boring and I cant say I was impressed. Some of the recipes are fairly easy, but nothing that jumps out and makes you wants to cook...
This book is absolutely wonderful. The easy and won't put a huge dent in your pocket. I have made several dishes so far from this book and they all have come out great. This is definitly a must have cook book whether your a vegetarian or not.
