For anyone who is grieving the loss of an infant, this is an excellent resource. But it is especially appealing to young children who are old enough to look at picture books and to listen to stories. It is a factual account with delightful illustrations that depict the joy of pregnancy, the shock of loss and the sadness that surrounds the whole family when death sneaks in. Very insightful without being judgmental or religiously specific. It is a superb "read aloud" story that teaches adults and children alike. It is a mainstay of my bereavement library and one copy has nearly been worn out by one client with two young daughters.
