Wallace has converted his home into a granary complete with fully functional, old-fashioned windmill (patent pending) on the roof, and as a result "Top Bun" has become one of the hottest bakeries in town. But all is not well in the neighborhood, because more than a dozen local bakers have gone missing in the last few months alone. Now, as Wallace falls head over heels for former Bake-O-Lite bread girl Piella Bakewell (voice of CORONATION STREET star Sally Lindsay), Gromit attempts to solve the case of the missing bakers before his hapless master becomes the latest dough-roller to vanish without a trace.

Great Fun!

knoxvegas1 from TN, Dec 28, 2009

Bought this as a gift and purchased a second for our family. It's well worth adding to your collection. Our family ages range from 17 to 63 and everyone was laughing out loud at the antics. Without a doubt children younger than 17 would also be laughing. We enjoyed it from beginning to hilarious end. Wallace and Gromit never disappoint. The graphics are wonderful and detailed and the story line is suitable for all ages.

A Christmas Date

persnickety13 from San Leandro, CA, Dec 10, 2009

I haven't seen it yet as my grandson and I have a date to watch it during the winter break. But we have all the rest of the series, and none have been a disappointment. We first got acquainted with the characters on PBS. We taped it because we wanted to be able to watch it over every once in a while. It was shown during the hours for adults. But ,eventually, someone got wise and started putting it on a CD. It 's a wonderful series for kids, also. We even bought some ceramic figures of our favorite characters on some website. So it has finally become a commercial product; and the makers have a high standard of quality. Hopefully, this will encourage people not familiar with these characters to get acquainted. You don't have to have a kid to buy these. Adults were the first to discover them on PBS, but now children have discovered them also.
