It is not hard to believe that Vince Gill has created one of the best albums of the year. He has a long history of creating lush country ballads and on this new album, he doesn't disappoint. I am partial, just now, to "A River Like You" and "If I Make Misissippi." That voice is so beautiful and heartfelt. He also plays a mean guitar on bluegrass, up-tempo country and "rockish tunes". He even pulls off a jazz ballad with Diana Krall. What a talent! I notice the more I listen, the more I really like these songs. Check out the list of singer/musicians that he has recruited to sing along. Top-flight performers, all of them. Vince Gill is at the top of his game. Check out the low, low Overstock price (for a four CD set) and you will want to own this masterpiece. He seems like such a nice guy, too. Bravo, bravo, bravo.

I thoroughly enjoyed these cd's. There was a wide variety of songs and a lot of duets. Would highly recommend These Days - Vince Gill to anyone who enjoys good music.

If you even remotely like Vince Gill, you will LOVE this 4 CD Pack. It is awesome and I have ordered 5 of them, so far, because everytime a friend hears the great music, they want it! It is the best Vince has ever done!

A magnificient, great value collection for any Vince Gill fan! The 4-CD set showcases Vince's diverse musical talents as a singer/songwriter and magnificient guitarist. Each CD is packed with great tunes displaying Vince's marvelous diversity that cross sections a variety of music categories. These original works truly are representative of classic great Vince Gill songs done in only Gill style. A musical delight!

Vince is the MASTER of writing and playing and singing!!! Just a really good mix of all types of music...something for everyone! Only Vince Gill could do this!

This album is actually five of different genres. All the albums are wonderful. There are 5 genres: bluegrass, country traditional, country rocking, country gospel, and country acoustic. The only problem I had was that there are guests listed on most of the songs but the guests are not duet partners. Most of the guests only sing background vocals. Listing the guests after the song title seems a little misleading. The songs themselves are very good. Vince is a great songwriter (he wrote or co-wrote a lot of the songs) as well as singer.

Disc 2 is great. All but one song is enjoyable. The other three discs only have one or two songs that I liked. It is not a good value unless you like all of Vince Gill's music. I usually only like some of his music. I fell in love with Reason Why and that is why I had to buy the set. I play disc 2 over and over but I have only played the other three one time. If you are a big Vince fan then this is a must have CD, otherwise it isn't a good value.

A great collection of Vince Gill's musical talents. I enjoy the differences in his styles. The man can do it all. I would encourage you to purchase this cd. It is worth every penny!
