Victory At Sea - Multi Disc Collector's Set (DVD)

Arrived quickly, and excellent quality. The video is amazingly good for such an old black & white TV series. And, the sound is good quality and consistent, unlike some other much higher priced collections with reports of poor quality sound. All 26 episodes are contained on 3 DVD's.

I assume that you see the picture that YOU attached to this e-mail. It shows a WWII destroyer with its guns pointing to the left. That is what I ordered from you. It is NOT what I received ! ! !Before returning it, I called and, typically, your customer service rep, courteous as she was, could not tell me why I received what I did. After explaining to her that I did not care about the outer cover (aforementioned picture) and that I was concerning about what was on the DVD inside. She said that if I opened it and looked at the DVD on my computer that I could not return it for a full refund. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and after explaining it all over again to her, she told me to open it and look at the DVD on my computer. I did so and, lo and behold, it was what I wanted. All was well ! ! !Somehow, Overstock.com, should ensure that what is "shown" on the web site is what is sent out.

I was amazed to see Victory At Sea for under $10, including shipping. The series has sold for $99 or more. Superb quality, timeless value...what a deal!!!!!

A must for everyone who values the sacrifices made by America's greatest generation. They saved the world from tyranny.
